Kenville Gold Mine

Overview

Kenville is a past-producing mine with a rich and colorful past – it was the first underground lode gold mine in the Province of British Columbia, and is well known for the size and nature of its high-grade gold content. It has produced 181,395 tonnes of ore between 1890 and 1952, and has changed hands many times. It is currently under strong control and ownership by Anglo Swiss Resources Inc.
